Win by 725 runs! In the record average Mumbai Ranji semifinals, Madhya Pradesh can play with Bengal.

The three teams in the semi-finals of the Ranji Trophy are finalists. Mumbai, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh have won the match in three days. Bengal ahead as the fourth team.
Madhya Pradesh, Mumbai and Uttar Pradesh reached the semifinals of Ranji Trophy with easy wins. Madhya Pradesh is in the last four after losing to Punjab. Along with the win, Mumbai set a record in first-class cricket. Prithvi Shara lost to Uttarakhand by 725 runs. Uttar Pradesh won by 5 wickets in a close battle with Karnataka. Shubhaman Gilra could not take place in the last four of Ranji. Madhya Pradesh has won the match in three days. None of their batsmen could score 50 runs in the first innings. Punjab captain Abhishek Sharma won the toss and elected to bat first. The highest run for the team is Abhishek and Anmalpreet Singh’s 47. Madhya Pradesh scored 397 runs in reply to Punjab’s 219 runs. Shubham Sharma scored a century. Apart from his 102-run innings, Himanshu Mantri (89) and Rajat Patidar (85) also scored well. In the second innings, Punjab’s innings ended with 203 runs. None of the batsmen of the team got significant runs. Kumar Kartikeya caught the eye with the ball. He took 6 wickets with only 50 runs in 34 overs. After that Madhya Pradesh needed 26 runs to win. Himanshu (9) and Jash Dubey (17) picked up the runs after playing 5.1 overs.

Bengal is a possible opponent of Madhya Pradesh in the semi-final. Abhimanyu Aishwars are in the driver’s seat against Jharkhand. Mumbai set an example in first-class cricket against Uttarakhand. Prithvi won by a huge margin of 725 runs. Prithvi’s Mumbai declared with 647 runs for 8 wickets with the bat first. Two middle order batsmen from Mumbai batted well. Subhed Parkar played an impeccable innings of 252 runs. Playing an innings of 153 runs, Sarfaraz Khan made a partnership of 26 runs for the fourth wicket with Subhed. However, Karan Sharma’s side did not win one-sided against Karnataka. On the contrary, they snatched the victory from behind in the first innings. Batting first, Karnataka made 253 runs. No batsman of Manish Pandey’s team got a big run. Opener Ravi Kumar Samarth (57) scored the highest run for the team. Karan’s team could not take the lead in the first innings. Uttar Pradesh’s innings ended with only 155 runs. None of their batsmen got significant runs. Karnataka bowlers retaliated in the second innings. Karnataka were all out for 114 in the second innings. As a result, they could not use the advantage of being ahead by 98 runs in the first innings. Uttar Pradesh set a target of 213 runs to win. Uttar Pradesh lost five wickets and picked up the required runs. Their opponent in the semifinals is Mumbai. Both semifinals will start on June 14.
