Bangladesh is dominating the crease against England after handling the initial shock. After Nazmul Hossain Shanto, Mushfiqur Rahim, Tiger all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan also got fifty. The Tigers are on their way to a big collection. Bangladesh won the toss and decided to bat in the third and final ODI of the series on Monday (March 6). Till writing this report, the Tigers have collected 210 runs after losing 5 wickets in 43.1 overs. Shakib is unbeaten with 55 runs off 55 balls. This is his 52nd fifty in his ODI career. After winning the toss and batting after two openers Liton Das and Tamim Iqbal were dismissed, Shanto and Mushfiq duo guided the team. Bangladesh was dominating with the bat of both. But in the third ball of the 25th over of the innings, Shanto had to leave the field after being run out due to a misunderstanding between the two batters. Shanto stopped the ball made by Rehan Ahmed and stood on strike. But Mushfiq came out of the non-strike position to take the run without looking at him. Shanto also came out of his position when he crossed more than half of the crease. By then it was too late. Fielder Jos Buttler hands the ball to Rehan. When he broke the wicket, Shanto had to leave the field with his head down. His innings of 53 runs were stopped by 71 balls.

Shanto was batting comfortably till he got out. He was in form in the remaining two matches except for the second match of the series. 58 runs came from his bat in the first match. Meanwhile, Mushfiqur got his fifty after two balls of Shanto running out. This is his 43rd fifty in ODIs. In the end, Mushfiq’s innings stopped at 153 runs. He was bowled by Adil Rashid after scoring 70 runs off 93 balls with 6 fours. Mahmudullah Riyad who scored 8 runs from 9 balls left the field after being bowled by this spinner.
