Delhi Capitals mentor Sourav Ganguly sent a chartered flight from India for Mustafizur Rahman. Mostafiz was the only passenger on that flight. And Shakib Al Hasan flew to Dhaka from Savar’s BKSP in a helicopter. That too before the end of his team Mohammedan’s match in the Dhaka Premier Cricket League.

Shakib didn’t do much in his first and probably only match of the season for Mohammedan at BKSP on Saturday. Five runs off nine balls with the bat.No wicket with 31 runs in 10 overs with the ball in hand. However, Mohammedan got their first win in their sixth match after losing five matches in a row. They beat Sheikh Jamal by 22 runs. Shakib could not see the win. By then, however, the Mohammedan victory was almost certain. After taking a shower at BKSP, he boarded the helicopter to return before the match was over. It is known that Shakib paid Tk 50,000 from his pocket for the helicopter rental from BKSP to Dhaka. His helicopter ride to avoid traffic in the afternoon to attend the iftar of a commercial establishment in Dhaka in time.
