Murali Vijay wants to play for another country

Murali Vijay last got a chance in the Indian national team four years ago. Since then, he has not been close to the national team. In frustration and pride, this time the opener wants to play cricket for another country. In a recent interview, he said, “My relationship with the BCCI is almost over. I’m looking for an opportunity to play abroad. I still want to play competitive cricket. â€?/div>
India’s right-handed opener said, “If you are more than 30 years old, can’t you play for the country anymore? Everyone thinks we’re 80 years old. Even after 30 years, one can go to one’s best rhythm. Vijay played 61 Tests, 17 ODIs, and 9 T20Is for India. He scored 3982 runs at an average of 38.3 in Tests. He has also scored 2619 runs in 106 matches in the IPL. Vijay was once considered India’s number-one Test opener on foreign soil. Even on the tour of England in 2014, where Virat Kohli struggled, Vijay handled the negligence of England’s pacers. But since playing a Test match against Australia in Perth in 2018, he has not got a chance in the Indian team.
