McCullum was replaced by the new coach of KKR

Indian Premier League (IPL) team Kolkata Knight Riders is no longer with the Kiwi legend Brendon McCullum. He has got the responsibility of head coach of the England test cricket team. In his place, Chandrakant Pandit, a well-known face of Indian domestic cricket, has been appointed as the new coach of Shah Rukh Khan’s team. Under which Madhya Pradesh won the last Ranji Trophy title.
KKR announced the 60-year-old Pandit as their head coach on Wednesday. They wrote on their official Facebook page on Wednesday – We have got a new head coach. Welcome to the Knight Riders family Chandrakant Pandit. Meanwhile, Chandrakant Pandit is overwhelmed by the responsibility. However, he considers the responsibility of a team in a mega tournament like IPL to be a big challenge.

Pandit said, “It is a great honor for me, but also a great responsibility. I learned about the KKR family culture. I have full confidence in the talent of the team’s players and coaching staff. I am looking forward to working with them. Chandrakant Pandit was the wicket-keeper batsman in his career. He played five Tests and 36 ODI matches for India from 1986 to 1992. After that Pandit focused on a coaching career. Under him, Mumbai (2003 and 2004) and Vidharba (2018 and 2019) won the title in two consecutive years. In all, he won six Ranji trophies as a coach.
