Mujeeb was another bowler with two wickets to his name in four overs but he was charged for 24 runs. Naveen-ul-Haq picked one wicket while Azmatullah and Rashid Khan were the bowlers who remained wicketless. The performance of the batting order of Afghanistan was also amazing. They scored 82 runs in the power play over. They lost their first wicket on the total of 83 runs and chased the target of 106 runs in 10.1 overs with eight wickets in hand. Rahmanullah Gurbaz was the most successful batter from their side who scored 40 runs on just 18 balls with the help of three boundaries and four huge sixes. Hazratullah Zazai remained not out after scoring 37 runs while Ibrahim Zadran scored 15 runs.
