The name Byju is not unfamiliar to common people. Many know about this educational app company thanks to its advertisement starring Shah Rukh Khan. BCCI has signed an agreement with them since the last ODI World Cup year. According to that agreement, there was an agreement with Byju to increase the board’s allocation by 10 percent every year. They have a contract with the organization till the 2023 ODI World Cup. According to the information received through BCCI sources, the board is supposed to receive 86 crore 21 lakh rupees from the organization so far. But the company denied this claim. They said the extension of their contract with the BCCI is still ongoing, nothing has been finalized or signed. The money will be paid accordingly only when the contract is completed.

At this moment, my financial condition of Byju’s is not very good. Statistics show that the educational app company laid off 500 in-house employees last month. Although the exact number has not been ascertained according to many, there is nothing to do if the number is less than 1000.

Byju itself now wants to leave the responsibility of the Indian team. They are desperate to hand over this responsibility to another company. They signed a four-year contract with the Indian Cricket Board till 2019. But now both sides can survive if they move. But BCCI’s arrears are blocking that road.
