BPL starts on January 6, how much is the prize money?

The ninth edition of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) will begin on January 6. Chattogram Challengers and Sylhet Strikers will take on each other in the opening match at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur. The prize money for this year’s BPL season is Tk 4 crore.
The champion team will get two crores, while the runner-up team will get one crore.

Ismail Haider Mallik, member secretary of the BPL Governing Council, said on Saturday that there is a possibility of keeping a cash prize of Tk 10 lakh for the best player of the tournament.
