Bajimat in his debut, Gujarat won the IPL title

Gujarat Titans surprised the final by participating in the IPL for the first time. They defeated an old and experienced team like Rajasthan Royals in the final and won the title. And the success of the team was led from the front by the captain Hardik Pandya.
Gujarat Titans defeated Rajasthan by 7 wickets in the grand final of the 15th IPL and won the title. In the match played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, Rajasthan lost 9 wickets and scored 131 runs. Gujarat Titans lost 3 wickets and reached the target.

Gujarat, which started its journey in IPL for the first time, finished the league from the top. Gujarat reached the final by defeating Rajasthan in the first qualifier.

On the other hand, Rajasthan reached the final after 14 years. The team’s dream was to win the title for the second time. But Gujarat Titans shattered their dream. Rajasthan has lost to Gujarat in 3 matches including the final. He did not do otherwise in the final.

However, chasing the target set by Rajasthan, Gujarat suffered a setback early on. Opener Riddhiman Saha left with just 5 runs. Then Matthew Wade also returned with 8 runs. But then another opener Shubhaman Gill and captain Hardik turned the tide of the match by averaging 63 runs. However, Hardik left the team on the way to victory and fell victim to Yuzvendra Chahal. An essential inning of 34 runs from 30 balls came from his bat. The rest of the way, Gill and David Miller did not allow any danger. Gill played a patient inning of 45* off 43 balls. On the other hand, David Miller once again landed the role of ‘finisher’ in a devastating batting. On the way to being unbeaten on 32 off just 19 balls, this Proteas left-arm batsman hit 3 fours and 1 six.
