When asked about physical abuse, he said, “We are husband and wife. There may be some trouble. It is not such a big thing.” Al-Amin’s wife Israt Jahan complained, “Al-Amin wanted to know if I brought Tk 20 lakh as dowry when I came home on the night of August 25. Al-Amin beat me and said that his family couldn’t pay so much money. Later, when I called 999, the police came and rescued me (Israt Jahan) and admitted me to the emergency department of the hospital in a bloody state.”

Sohel Rana confirmed that when Israt Jahan called 999 that day, she was taken to hospital with injuries. Al-Amin claimed that his wife went to the hospital on the night of August 25 but did not torture her. He said, ‘She went to the hospital, but was not admitted. If there was an admission, then there would be documents. That day she slipped and fell. Later my father took her to the hospital. Now my wife and children are with me. She may be saying something out of spite or anger. There is no problem between us.’

It should be noted that Israt Jahan and Al- Amin, who has been out of the national team for a long time, have been married for more than 12 years. They have two sons. The elder son is 6 years old and the younger son is 4 and half years old. Earlier, Al-Amin was punished for disorderly conduct. Apart from this, he also caused controversy due to his indecent behavior on the field at various times.
