Atal’s incredible onslaught began when spinner Amir Zazai, who had conceded 35 runs for one wicket off three overs until that point, delivered his first ball of the 19th over. Atal, who was already on an impressive 76 runs with his team at 158 for six, wasted no time in sending the ball soaring over the boundary ropes for a massive six.

The next ball from Zazai was wide, which went past the wicketkeeper for four byes, adding 12 more runs to Atal’s explosive tally, and leaving Zazai with six more balls to bowl.
