Asif Ali and captain Kieron Pollard of the New York Strikers formed an unbeaten partnership, scoring 56 runs in 29 balls to win the final with four balls to spare. Ali scored 48 runs off 25 balls with four sixes and two boundaries, while Pollard scored 21 runs off 13 balls with one boundary and a six. They received $100,000 as prize money for lifting the trophy.
The New York Strikers, a relatively new team in the Abu Dhabi T10, reached the final in both editions and won the title this time. The Gladiators, who aimed for a hat-trick of titles, finished as runners-up and received $50,000.
Sunil Narine played a crucial role in restricting the Gladiators to 91 for 5 with two wickets for six runs in his two overs. This was the same total that the Strikers were limited to in the last edition’s final, which the Gladiators won by 37 runs.
